document 5 de 5 The UNESCO YDC Educator's Kit is designed to help teachers and educators working in schools, youth clubs, community centres, and training institutes to generate and manage project-based learning activities with young people. The focus is on the creative use of information and communication technologies, global challenges of development, cultural diversity and inter-cultural dialogue.
The first part of the Kit explains some basic concepts of the initiative. The second part of the Kit introduces a detailed lesson plan with a number of learning activities. Furthermore the book comes with a CD-ROM that contains a selection on Free and Open/Source Software that can be used in creative projects.
