| The newsletter of the Impact Alliance | May 2006 |
| Greetings!
Good governance is fundamental to poverty reduction and improved livelihoods for people around the world. There is a massive capacity development challenge to improve the current situation. This month we highlight some of the efforts to connect and develop capacities for improving governance at the local level. Please give special attention to the NGO Corruption Fighters Resource Book: how NGOs can use monitoring and advocacy to fight corruption by Richard Holloway. This is one of the most comprehensive resources available for practitioners to strengthen their corruption-fighting capabilities. We thank Richard for graciously allowing the Impact Alliance to distribute his work and hope that you find it useful.
We love to feature your work. Send us your information and we’ll do our best to share it through our web site and with our 3000 newsletter recipients.
