The Impact Alliance is an international network committed to strengthening the capacity of individuals and organizations to generate deep impact within the communities they serve.  We assist our members and clients to improve the quality, sustainability and scale of their activities through facilitating peer knowledge exchange, networked learning initiatives and multi-stakeholder partnerships. Our goal is to help organizations create greater social impact.

Since 2002, the Impact Alliance has cultivated a membership network of over 150 organizations and 3,000 individual practitioners, two-thirds from middle and lower-income countries. Our members work in a range of sectors, from health and environment, to economic and municipal development. They represent the social, private and public sector—with wide reach into their respective countries and thematic areas.

In 2012, Root Change assumed leadership of the Impact Alliance, injecting new energy and vision into the network. The Root Change leadership team has been involved with Impact Alliance since its launch and sees enormous potential to broadcast the latest innovations of local capacity development leaders and hopes to continue to provide a platform for knowledge sharing between regional actors.

Our online resource center features an extensive collection of thousands of organizational management and capacity development related resources used by 200,000+ people from over 200 countries during the past year.

The Impact Alliance combines the strength of its core team, affiliated consultants and global member network to implement initiatives that tackle priority international development challenges.
