The panel of judges representing subject matter expertise and regional diversity selected finalists from among the entries that best met the evaluation criteria listed below. Each entry was reviewed and scored using a 10 point scale for each of the four criteria. A total of 40 points was possible.
Knowledge Fair Entry Evaluation Criteria
Clarity
- Does the entry clearly reflect the overall theme of capacity development?
- Does the entry clearly illustrate how a policy, investment or program worked to develop capacity within at least one of the three thematic contexts (sub-national/local; post-crisis/transitional; middle-income countries
Creativity
- Does the experience demonstrate an innovative policy, methodology or programmatic approach?
- Does the entry present the activity or experience in a creative way?
Impact
- What impact has an investment in capacity development produced?
- Is there clear evidence provided that the policy, investment or program has made a measurable impact?
Scalability
- Is the policy, investment or program able to be implemented more broadly in different communities, countries or settings other than the one described in the case story?
- Does the entry inspire and/or promote replication by others?
