Focal areas

There are three focal areas within the broader theme of capacity development where the UNDP is investing extra effort to gather evidence during this process. While entries featuring diverse expressions of capacity development will be accepted, the Knowledge Fair will give special attention to entries highlighting experiences within the following three focal areas.

1) Sub-National Capacity Development: Local Solutions, National Strengths
2) Capacity Challenges in Post-crisis and Transitional Situations
3) Fostering the Rise and Resilience of Middle-Income Countries
