Our learning community is a virtual space for experience exchange, updated information, tools and methodologies for the formulation and implementation of financial (business plans) for systems of protected areas.
The financial sustainability of protected areas continue to be a fundamental challenge to reach the objectives of conservation in Latin America and Caribbean, and other regions of the world. Given the extended and complex nature of this challenge, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and its local partners join their efforts to learn and develop abilities around four
key issues:
1. Analysis of financial gaps
2. Institutional capacity
3. Legal and institutional frameworks
4. Links between site and system level financial plans
